typing it.
FXstudio's command palette puts every effect, preset, asset, and saved curve behind one shortcut — applied to the layers you've already selected. No panels to dig through. No flow to break.

Five tools that share one home — and one shortcut.
FXSearch is the way in. FXPort, FXCurve, FXSync, and the FXFlow action center live behind tabs in a single After Effects panel — and everything they make is searchable from the same palette.
Every effect, preset, asset, and curve — one shortcut away
Press Ctrl+Space anywhere in After Effects and start typing. FXSearch spans 246 native and CC effects (grouped by their real AE categories), your own .ffx Animation Presets, FXPort assets, FXCurve presets, and suite commands. Enter applies the top hit to the layers you've already selected.
A hub for the moves you repeat
Create solids, nulls, cameras and lights; unprecomp a comp back to its layers without losing a thing; batch-apply an effect to every selected layer. Favorites, recents, and presets included.
Pull from any project
Browse another .aep and bring its comps, layers, and assets straight into the composition you're working in.
Shape an ease, save it, reuse it
Draw velocity curves on a graph and keep them as presets — then summon any of them from FXSearch by name.
Put markers on the beat
Lay a tempo grid of markers across an audio layer at the BPM you set, then write the ones you keep onto the comp timeline.
120 BPM · 4/4 · markers on comp
The same result.
A tenth of the friction.
Applying an effect shouldn't pull you out of the comp. FXstudio collapses the whole detour into muscle memory — so the idea in your head reaches the timeline before it fades.

Forget the menus.
FXstudio is designed to disappear. After a day, your fingers know it better than you do. Every shortcut is yours to remap.
I optimize for the three-hundredth time you reach for the same effect — not the first.
Motion design is a thousand small actions repeated until they become invisible. Every one of those actions is a place where friction hides. FXstudio is my attempt to remove the most common ones entirely — and then get out of your way.
